Eine Oberstufenschülerin macht Musik mit Kindern im Grundschulalter

To mark the launch of the new ?MusikPlus? teacher training courses for primary schools, the MHL is collaborating with the existing Musiktutor:innen.SH programme to initiate a project designed to motivate and inspire young people, particularly in rural areas, to work with primary school children. As part of the PriMus.SH project, upper secondary school students will have the opportunity to try their hand at teaching music to groups of children at a primary school in their home region. They will be supported and accompanied by their own music teachers, primary school music teachers from their region and, as part of a workshop module at the MHL, also by MHL lecturers and students. The PriMus.SH project thus also enables potential prospective students to be informed at an early stage about the prior knowledge required for the course, to receive individual advice and to initiate appropriate early support in preparing for a course at the MHL.
